HARLEM is a diverse and unique community, with news and information needs that are not being served by New York City’s mainstream broadcast media.
HARLEM PUBLIC RADIO makes the broadcast news and information needs of Harlem residents our first priority. Serving the areas covered by (see map on left), including, but not limited to the activities of:
Community Board 9, 10 and 11.
Police pct. 23, 25, 26, 28, 30 and 32.
Community Education Council District: 3, 4, 5 and 6.
